Learn more about who we are, what we believe and why we do what we do.
The Sojourners Prison Outreach was founded with a burning desire to bring the love of Christ to those behind bars. Inspired by Matthew 25:36, our founders believed that every prisoner deserves to encounter hope, dignity and purpose.
What started as a small group of volunteers has grown into an organization impacting prisons across the nation. We are committed to walking alongside prisoners, ex-offenders, and their families through every step of the journey.
We serve with genuine love and empathy for every individual behind bars.
We operate with transparency and accountability in all we do.
We are committed to delivering the highest quality of ministry and service.
We cannot do this alone. We are looking for organizations, churches, and individuals who share our vision of bringing hope and restoration to prisoners, ex-offenders, and their families. Your partnership — whether through prayer, resources, or expertise — will help us reach more lives and build a stronger, more compassionate society.
